Donor Privacy Policy

The Indian River Land Trust values each of our donors and takes their privacy very seriously. We maintain the highest level of confidentiality concerning our donors' contact and financial information, including any financial transactions/commitments. Access to all financial information is pass-word protected and limited to authorized Indian River Land Trust employees and Board officers. Electronic financial transactions with donors are conducted over secure, recognized financial portals.

A donor's personal or financial information is used for internal purposes only. We will never sell, trade, or share donor information, nor will we use it to send information on behalf of other organizations. Unless otherwise notified, we only use a donor's personal or financial information to:

  • Distribute receipts for gifts;
  • Acknowledge donors for their contribution;
  • Inform donors of Indian River Land Trust events and opportunities;
  • Comply with current regulations regarding 501(C)(3) reporting;
  • Comply with any regulations regarding specific grants or contributions.
